Mayan Families
While in Guatemala, I photographed for Mayan Families, a non-profit organization that works with local communities around Lake Atitlan. Mayan Families provides many services for local villiages, including building homes and free medical care. Local families would line up in the town square to receive care. Sometimes they would be sent to the optometrist for glasses, dentist for a checkup, or a general health physician. |
